How We Meditate
We usually arrive a few minutes early to get settled, and the first bell goes at 5:15pm. We do seated meditation for forty minutes. Then another bell is sounded and we do walking meditation for 15 minutes.

The walking meditation can be done by walking back and forth across the main room, the second room, the hallway, or in the lovely gardens. If walking in the gardens then formal line walking is not necessary, you can walk more freely if you wish.

A third bell is sounded and we all regather in the main room for a final five minutes of sitting.

At 6:15 a final bell is sounded three times to mark the end of the formal meditation practice.
